Join this virtual Criminal Defense and Personal Injury gathering on April 23, as part of our Innovate Legal series of practice area e-meetups.

Erin Gerstenzang | Founder, EHG Law

Erin Gerstenzang founded EHG Law Firm, which is located in Atlanta, Georgia. She provides client-centered legal services to clients facing drug and alcohol-related criminal offenses, and subscription legal services to new hemp businesses in Georgia. She was honored by Fastcase 50 in 2018 and recognized by the ABA's Legal Technology Resource Center as one of the honorees of the Women in Legal Tech 2019. She is on the ABA TECHSHOW Planning Board and she co-founded AtlantaLegalTech.com. She serves on the board of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Foundation, and she was a recipient of their GAWL Visionary Award in 2019. She chairs the Judicial Recommendation Committee of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and is on their long-range planning committee and was the recipient of the President’s Award in January 2020. She also serves on the State Bar of Georgia's Disciplinary Rules and Procedures Committee.

Patrick was the first recipient of the “Service to the Legal Profession Award”, and has been chosen by the “National Trial Lawyers” as one of the Nation’s Top 100 trial lawyers. PATRICK A. PALACE is the owner of Palace Law, a firm of workers' compensation and personal injury attorneys. Palace Law acquired three firms in 2019-2020 and is the largest workers compensation firm in Washington.
Patrick was the President of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) 2013-2014.  He is a member of the National Conference of Bar Presidents (2014-present) that prepares and trains Bar leadership nationwide.  He was elected to the NCBP Executive Council, serves on the Board of the ABA Center for Innovation and the Editorial Board for GPSolo magazine. In the past he chaired the WSBA Future of the Profession Committee 2013-2015, served on the WSBA Board of Governors from 2008 – 2011, the Washington Association of Justice Board of Governors for 9 years and was WSBA Treasurer 2010-2011.  

In 2016, Palace Law was recognized by the Law 500 as one of the top 100 firms nationwide for its growth and innovation. Patrick was the first recipient of the “Service to the Legal Profession Award”, has been chosen by the “National Trial Lawyers” as one of the Nation’s Top 100 trial lawyers, named as one of the “Top Attorneys in Washington” and been selected as a “Super Lawyer” for more than 13 years.
He has presented at over 60 legal conferences and completed 25 podcast interviews on issues including legal technology, mindfullness and data driven decision making. Patrick has several joint ventures with tech companies and has developed legal applications for Palace Law and for solo and small practitioners. Among these tools are a legal chatbot (“the Patbot”), an online case valuation tool that accurately provides the value of any workers compensation case, a legal voice command tool and a tool for financial management.
Patrick produced and moderated two television programs: “The Peoples Law School" and "LawTalk".  These programs provide consumers with information about our legal system and their rights and remedies.  Thirty-three programs were produced. 
 Patrick is a dedicated practitioner of yoga. He has a daily meditation practice, writes about meditation and speaks nationally of the topics of mindfulness and the future of the legal profession.
In 2016, Patrick opened a winery, Sunken Cellars, whose vintages include Cabernet Sauvignon, Albariño, “Sophia Rose” and an Italian red blend (“Tesoro Rosso).(SunkenCellars.com)
