Join this personal branding session on July 13, 2020, as part of our virtual series of Innovate Legal July Meetups focused on personal development for legal professionals.

This meetup will feature a panel of legal and consulting professionals who will explain the importance of building an authentic brand that aligns with your values and purpose—and why this matters not only for marketing purposes, but from a human perspective as well. The panelists will help you assess and reflect on your current public-facing persona, and they will equip you with the tools you need to re-think and develop your brand. John Grant

John Grant| Founder of Agile Attorney

John E. Grant is the founder of the Agile Attorney Network, a consultancy for legal professionals looking to harness the tools of modern entrepreneurship to build more profitable, scalable, and sustainable practices. He is a fourth-generation lawyer who has served as in-house counsel and managed a boutique IP law firm. John co-chaired the Oregon State Bar's Futures Task Force and currently sits on its Board of Governors, serves on the board of The Commons Law Center, is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and is a FastCase 50 and ABA Journal Web100 Honoree.

Simon Boehme

Simon Boehme| Technology Entrepreneur

Simon Boehme is a technology entrepreneur, specializing in dispute resolution and legal innovation. He has been practicing and researching online dispute resolution for nearly a decade. Simon was a recent member of the State Bar of California’s Access Through Innovation of Legal Services (ATILS) Task Force. Simon was previously Co-Founder and COO at Disputly (formerly LegalWin). He also founded Magnify, a contract company summarizing terms and conditions of popular websites (recently acquired). He also was a member of the Accord Project Dispute Resolution Working Group (building guidelines and open source code for smart legal contracts). He also served as a mediator with Conflict Intervention Service aiming to reduce homelessness in San Francisco (along with creating the first online dispute resolution system for landlord-tenant disputes). Simon was appointed by the Obama Administration to serve on the U.S. Department of Education's National Advisory Committee for Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI).
