Join this 30-minute virtual training session to learn:

  • What your clients will experience when sharing documents with you via Clio for Clients, when receiving their bills, and when communicating with you through secure channels.
  • The tools and strategies for collaborating with clients and colleagues in the cloud, using Clio and other industry-leading technology.
  • How to maintain effective professional relationships with staff and colleagues when working remotely.

This session includes a 30-minute training session and a 15-minute Q&A.

Joshua has worked extensively to educate lawyers on technology’s capability to enhance their practice, while also teaching tech companies about the unique needs of the legal system.

T.C. Whittaker

T.C. Whittaker| Venture Leader, PwC InsightsOfficer

T.C. Whittaker is the Venture Leader of PwC InsightsOfficer, the bookkeeping, billing and insights solution for law firms. Prior to this role, T.C. was a director for PwC’s Private Company Services practice, where he worked closely with private companies in various industries across the southeast region to deliver transformational assurance, tax and advisory solutions. He has extensive startup experience, having founded multiple businesses, ranging from real estate development, mobile application development, automotive services, and logistics.

T.C. held multiple executive and entrepreneurial roles before joining PwC. He worked in investment banking on Wall Street, then moved to Atlanta to be the CFO of an early stage IT staffing company. T.C. was later on promoted to President and CEO, and during his tenure oversaw the expansion of the business and eventual sale. Under T.C.’s leadership and management, the company ranked first in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Best Places to Work award and the American Staffing Association Best in Class Website award.

Janine Sickmeyer | CEO and Founder of NextChapter

Janine is CEO and Founder of NextChapter, a web application for attorneys to prepare, manage and file bankruptcy cases online. Janine was honored as one of ABA's Women of Legal Tech 2017 and a Fastcase 50 winner in 2019. As a paralegal, she saw a need for cloud-based bankruptcy software, taught herself to code, built a team of skilled developers and launched NextChapter in 2016.

Mandy Ballinger

Mandy Ballinger | COO of NextChapter

Mandy is NextChapter’s Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for managing daily operations and development. After graduating at the top of her class in the Paralegal Program at Capital Law University, she joined the Chapter 13 Trustee’s Office and worked for 7 years in bankruptcy and foreclosure. Mandy joined NextChapter as the first employee and has grown in her role to become COO.
